The Giraglia Rolex Cup regatta is one of the top regattas combining offshore and inshore racing in the Mediterranean region. It is held annually in June by Yacht Club Italiano together with Yacht Club de France and Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez.

What sort of regatta is the Giraglia?
With the first in 1953, the Giraglia Cup was invented to recreate links between Italy and France following World War 2. Now, this Mediterranean race is a must for many sailors from all over the world. Organized by the Nautical Society of Saint-Tropez, the Yacht Club Italiano and the French Yacht Club, the Giraglia Rolex Cup brings together many sailors from all over the world. Why should I take part in the Giraglia?
The Giraglia was created in 1953 as a 241-nautical mile offshore race. It has grown consistently since then, and now includes a feeder race from Sanremo and three days of inshore races in the bay of Saint-Tropez. In 2022 this classic regatta celebrates its 69th anniversary. The Rolex Giraglia is organised by the Yacht Club Italiano with the collaboration of the Yacht Club Sanremo and the Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez. With the support of: Yacht Club de France, Union Nationale pour la Course au Large (UNCL), International Maxi Association (IMA), City of Saint-Tropez, City of Genoa and City of Sanremo.

Where can I charter a yacht for the Swan Maxi Cup?
Right here. Our Swan 601 is available to race charter for the Palma Vela. We will organise to have the yacht ready and waiting at the dock for you and your crew. We will organise berthing for the event and for training days beforehand/ We will organise a race skipper and tactician if you would like. We will organise a crew house and ground transport. We will even book restaurants… if you like.
